The Faux Freckle Fantasy

Hello everyone, welcome back to the blog! Thank you all for the engagement on the last post it is really appreciated. We are back today with another trend that has taken the makeup world by storm which is the faux freckles and rosy cheeks craze💗.

This trend has been extremely popular for a while now and people just can’t seem to get enough of it! This trend is loved by many but especially those with actual freckles as they are now considered desirable. For years freckles people have been covering their freckles with makeup due to them not meeting the considered “beauty standard” but now times are changing, and more and more people are embracing natural beauty which I am sure we all can get behind😃. Achieving this look is super easy but there are a few different products you can use to achieve this look which I will be sharing with you. This look can be achieved on bare skin or even on a full face of makeup so no matter your preference you can still rock this look💁.

Mini Tutorial

Step 1 – Start out with fresh moisture skin or once you have completed your base makeup, take any rosy pink blush (or even a pink eyeshadow) and go in pretty heavy across your cheeks and don’t forget the nose! I personally like using the Misslyn powder blush in shade flamingo forever as it’s a nice hot pink which allows me to achieve that extremely rosy look🌹.

Step 2 – when it comes to the freckles there are a few ways to achieve this, my favourite way to achieve this is by using a light brown eyebrow pencil and gently pressing it into my cheeks and over my nose area. You could also use a brown eyeshadow and a small pointed brush to achieve this look. To create these freckles my go to products to use are the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pen as it is like a felt tip liner which creates really realistic looking freckles! When I'm going for more softer looking freckles I tend to go for the eyeshadow technique and my fav product to use is the Mac eyeshadow in wedge as its a really soft light brown shade which is perfect for faux freckles💟!
